The mission of Clean Energy Action is to:

• Accelerate the transition from a fossil fuel based economy to one based on clean energy and energy efficient technologies
  
• Stop construction of Xcel Energy's proposed Pueblo coal plant and any other large coal fired plant in the State of Colorado
  
• Raise awareness about global climate change and other problems related to the use of fossil fuels
  
• Promote clean energy and energy efficient alternatives to fossil fuel reliance.
